Additional Exaktor EX60 Table Saw Open Grid Sliding System With Guide Rails, Fence, Table Assembly, Extension Bars & Blocks Information
|
The Exaktor EX60 Sliding Table has an open grid table with 96" long guide rails that allow for crosscuts up to 62" and can easily support 5' wide by 9' long heavy panels. Shop built panels can be inserted between the grids in the table to provide an enclosed surface if desired. By loosening two locking levers the sliding table can be easily removed from your table saw and, with optional Back Plates, attached to your spindle shaper, router table and/or band saw. To provide solid support for your work, the sliding table travels on eight sealed bearings rolling on Stainless Steel Guide Rails. There's no trouble with paint chipping or corrosion. Front and rear adjustable Wiper Brushes keep sawdust from gathering on the bearings, saving you maintenance and down time. The sliding table comes complete with a 64" crosscut Fence, two movable Flip-up Work Stops, a toggle Hold-down Clamp and two telescopic Extension Bars. One bar can be extended from the left end of the crosscut Fence to support work pieces up to 96" long and the other from the front of the sliding table to provide additional support when crosscutting panels up to 62" wide, 52" clearing the saw blade. The EX60 weighs 128 lb. and is shipped in three cartons.

What Customers Say About Exaktor EX60 Table Saw Open Grid Sliding System With Guide Rails, Fence, Table Assembly, Extension Bars & Blocks:

Also, the mechanism used to keep the fence at 90 degrees to the fence could use some improvement. The extension legs are difficult to level because they do not have easily adjustable feet. I ended up making my own to level the system with my table saw. I puchased this to to use at a "hobby level." The installation instructions are wanting. But, once set up the (about 25 hours for a first timer like me) it works well and makes cross cuts much safer. I ended up going over to a friend's shop to see how he had installed the system as well as getting help from the Woodcraft store mananger, before I was successful in getting the table close to being properly intalled. With a bit of work they could be much better. Getting the system tuned in is a whole other issue.
